Ea Sol commune is recognized as meeting new rural standards.

On the morning of December 1, the People's Committee of Ea H'leo district coordinated with the Party Committee and government of Ea Sol commune to solemnly organize the Ceremony to announce and receive the Decision of the Provincial People's Committee recognizing the commune as meeting new rural standards (NTM).

Attending the event were Mr. Le Xuan Suong, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Duong Tin Duc, Standing Member of the Provincial Steering Committee for National Target Programs, Deputy Chief of the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office; representatives of provincial departments and branches; leaders of Ea H'leo district; and officials, party members and people of Ea Sol commune.

Ea Sol commune has 19 villages and hamlets (including 12 hamlets of local ethnic minorities) with 3,357 households and 15,138 people. In 2011, after review, the commune only achieved 2/19 NTM criteria, service industry is underdeveloped, average income per capita is low, educational facilities and rural and intra-field transportation systems are still lacking and weak.

Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ea H'leo district Nguyen Van Ha gave a speech at the ceremony.

Implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, Ea Sol commune has deployed many effective solutions and methods, promoting the strength of the entire political system, becoming a widespread emulation movement. In particular, people have deeply recognized their role as the subject in building New Rural Construction with the motto "people know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people supervise, people benefit".

Ea Sol commune leaders received the Provincial People's Committee's Decision recognizing the commune as meeting NTM standards.

In the period of 2011 - 2022, Ea Sol commune mobilized a total budget of 352.129 billion VND to build new rural areas, of which people contributed 243.94 billion VND (accounting for 69.2%). From the mobilized resources, the commune has asphalted or concreted 100% of inter-commune and village roads; hardened 65.75% of alley roads; solidified 7 km of irrigation canals, meeting 87.5% of the proactive irrigation needs for crops. Along with that, many public infrastructure works, such as: Commune office, Health Station, Commune cultural house and in villages, hamlets... have also been invested in and built, contributing to changing the face of the countryside. The material and spiritual life of local people has also been constantly improved, the poverty rate has decreased to 5.5%; the average income has reached 45.17 million VND/year.

The cultural and social fields have made remarkable progress. In 2022, Ea Sol had 15/19 villages and hamlets achieving the title of cultural village and hamlet; 2,430 households achieving the title of cultural family for 3 consecutive years (accounting for 70.7%). The quality of education and training has been significantly improved. Up to now, the rate of universal primary and secondary education has reached over 90%; the rate of schools meeting national standards has reached over 50%. Primary health care for the people and environmental sanitation have been gradually improved... The political system has been built cleanly and strongly. Security - national defense, social order and safety have been maintained.

Collectives and individuals of Ea Sol commune with outstanding achievements received Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee.

At the ceremony, representatives of the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office presented the Decision of the Provincial People's Committee recognizing Ea Sol commune as meeting the New Rural Area standards in 2022. On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee also awarded Certificates of Merit to 1 collective and 5 individuals in Ea Sol commune with outstanding achievements in the Dak Lak movement to join hands to build the New Rural Area, period 2021 - 2025.
