The case of a middle school girl being assaulted by a group of high school students: Due to an online conflict

Regarding the incident in which a group of high school students assaulted and used a helmet to hit a female middle school student (grade 9) in the head in Yen Mo district (Ninh Binh), authorities are investigating the cause.

Speaking to Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Le Thai Hoa, Principal of Yen Mo A High School (Yen Mo district) said that after learning about the incident where a student of the school and a group of friends assaulted a female middle school student, the school asked the student involved to write a report.

"Currently, the school is implementing disciplinary procedures for this student according to regulations. This student himself has realized that his actions were wrong and is very remorseful for what he has done. This student asks the school and society for a chance to make amends and promises not to repeat the offense," said Mr. Hoa.

According to the report of TTTH (grade 11, Yen Mo A High School), the incident in which he and his group of friends acted inappropriately towards a female student in grade 9 at Khanh Thuong Secondary School was due to a conflict between the two students on social media.

The incident happened on February 17. After an online conflict, H. and two friends went to Khanh Thuong Secondary School to talk to a 9th grade female student. There, H. and the female student got into a conflict.

At this time, H.'s friend grabbed the 9th grade female student's hair and pulled her down onto the concrete floor. Then, H. and another friend rushed in to assault her, using a helmet to hit the younger female student on the head.

The incident became known to everyone on March 1, when a video of H. and a group of friends assaulting a 9th grade female student was posted on social media. The parents of the middle school girl learned of the incident and went to talk to H.'s parents and reported it to the authorities.

Afterwards, H.'s family also met with the parents of the 9th grade female student, hoping to forgive the mistake. Currently, both H. and the 9th grade female student (the one who was assaulted) are still going to school as usual. The incident has been resolved by the 2 students as well as the parents of both families.

The principal of Yen Mo A High School added that TTTH is not a problem student at the school. In class, both in terms of academic training and ethics, H. is an average student.
