At noon on March 14, Chu Thanh Huyen - Quang Hai's wife - posted a clip on her personal page sharing about being accused of over-advertising milk for children.

After public opinion was stirred up about the exaggerated advertisement, around noon today, March 14, Chu Thanh Huyen posted a clip on her personal page sharing that she had received feedback on social networks.

In the clip, Quang Hai's wife shared that from the time she was pregnant with her son until now when her son is nearly 9 months old, she "has always been careful in choosing supplementary products for both mother and baby".

"Huyen firmly believes that any mother wants the best for her child," Chu Thanh Huyen shared.

According to Huyen, she learned about this product through her sister-in-law. She herself also went directly to work with the unit distributing this milk product in Vietnam to ask about information about the milk and the age at which the milk can be used.

Huyen received information that children from 6 months old can get used to milk in sufficient amounts and cannot replace meals for children. After using it, seeing that the milk is suitable for children, she made a video to share.

In the clip, Chu Thanh Huyen also admitted her mistake and apologized for not clearly stating that what she shared was her personal opinion.

She also contacted the brand to verify information about the age limit for using this milk. Thanh Huyen also revealed that today, the brand will have a livestream to answer questions from the online community.

Previously, the milk advertisement video on Chu Thanh Huyen's personal page caused a stir in public opinion, causing doubts about the authenticity of the product.

In that clip, Chu Thanh Huyen poured a box of what she called milk into a cup and fed it to her son.

However, the online community believes that there are signs of editing between the two scenes, so they question the authenticity of the video. They believe that the "milk" she feeds her child and the "milk" she advertises are different.

In particular, Thanh Huyen also advertised: "This is the first cool milk line that directly affects the absorption of babies. No wonder if they lack this milk, babies will grow slowly and be stunted."

The online community also believes that children over 2 years old can use this product, however Chu Thanh Huyen advertised it for children from 8 months old, making mothers angry.

Speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , Dr. Nguyen Trong Hung - National Institute of Nutrition - affirmed that Chu Thanh Huyen's advertising of milk for 8-month-old children is a violation of Government Decree 100 (prohibiting advertising of milk for children under 24 months old).

This type of product is also shared by its correct name "probiotic water", experts also recommend that parents need to carefully read the product instructions and consult a pediatrician before giving it to their children.

"If the ingredients in the product are not suitable for the digestive system of children younger than the manufacturer's recommended age, it can lead to digestive disorders, diarrhea or allergies," said Dr. Hung.

For children from 6 months old, parents should apply a balanced, varied diet, appropriate for their age to provide enough energy, balance energy-producing substances (protein, fat, carbohydrates) and other vitamins and minerals.

Dr. Hung added that currently, there are many famous people on social networks who have great influence on consumers and exaggerate the benefits of products, typically Kera vegetable candy and blueberry candy (also products advertised by TikToker Hang Du Muc).

Management agencies need to tighten and take timely measures to ensure users' health and avoid losing money.

Dr. Hung said consumers should be cautious with advertisements related to food, especially products for children. Before buying, people need to know the origin and ingredients of the product, and use it for the right age as stated on the packaging by the manufacturer.

In cases of children with rickets, low weight, and anorexia, parents should take their children for nutritional consultation so that doctors can detect micronutrient deficiencies and point out incorrect habits instead of putting their trust in advertisements from famous people online.
