Vinh Tuy organizes cultural and sports activities to welcome the Ward Party Congress

Director of the Center for Culture - Information and Sports of Vinh Tuy Ward Trinh Le Duc said that this is a meaningful event to create a vibrant competitive atmosphere, practically achieving achievements to celebrate important political events of the country and locality, especially to welcome the new term Vinh Tuy Ward Party Congress, the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

In addition, the tournament aims to continue promoting the campaign "All people practice following the example of great Uncle Ho"; maintain and promote the movement of practicing and competing in sports in the ward. At the same time, the activities create an exciting atmosphere, encouraging cadres, party members and people of all walks of life to actively respond to the emulation to successfully carry out political tasks in the locality and unit after the 2-level local government officially comes into operation.

The tournament is not only a healthy and useful playground for athletes who love table tennis, but also an opportunity for clubs to exchange, learn, strengthen solidarity and cohesion in the local mass sports movement. At the same time, the tournament contributes to promoting the movement of physical training and sports, improving the cultural and spiritual life of the community.

The club table tennis tournament attracted 120 athletes from 9 teams from table tennis clubs in Vinh Tuy ward and 2 guest teams, competing on August 15 and 16 in the following categories: Men's singles 3 age groups, Women's singles 3 age groups, Mixed doubles, Men's doubles.

The Organizing Committee awarded 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize and 2 Third Prizes to the best competing teams.

On this occasion, the Vinh Tuy Ward Culture - Information and Sports Center organized a tug of war and chess competition. This is a practical activity to develop the mass sports movement, creating an atmosphere of competition, learning, friendship and solidarity among the people.
