6 safety principles when making card transactions and digital banking given by Vietcombank include:

1 “ALWAYS REMEMBER”: The bank does not send a link to log in to digital banking services, and does not ask for security information (password, OTP code, PIN code, card information, etc.) in any form.

2 “SHOULD”: When someone claiming to be the police, court, prosecutor’s office, investigation agency, tax agency… contacts you to request money transfer or information provision: SHOULD slow down to think about these strange requests. SHOULD be vigilant and verify the information carefully.

3 “NO”s: DO NOT click on strange links. DO NOT install strange Apps. DO NOT share confidential information (login name, password, OTP code, PIN code, card number...)

4. MANAGEMENT OF PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (PIN) OF CARD: DO NOT use easy-to-remember PIN. Change PIN regularly. Cover the keypad when entering PIN at ATM/POS

5. CONTROL OF CARD USE: Do not give your card to anyone else, except the cashier of the card accepting unit. When transacting via POS, make sure the transaction is done within sight to observe the cashier swiping the card. Close the card when not in use.

6. INFORMATION STORAGE: Only make transactions on reputable websites/applications/transaction points. Limit the use of public computers and store information when making transactions. Do not make transactions if the ATM has strange or unusual equipment.
