In the joyful and proud atmosphere towards the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), on August 19, at the Warsaw Citadel Square - the historical and cultural heart of Poland, the Vietnamese Embassy in Poland in coordination with the Vietnamese Women's Union in Poland and Vietnamese community organizations organized the program "Vietnamese Costume on Foot" - Spreading Vietnamese Culture.

This is a parade of traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai costumes on the central street of the ancient citadel - a special cultural feature, held for the first time in Poland, attracting the attention of many women, overseas Vietnamese and international friends.

Attending the event were Ambassador Ha Hoang Hai and his wife, all staff of the Embassy, leaders of community organizations and hundreds of Vietnamese women living, studying and working in Poland.

In the ancient space of the ancient citadel square, the image of soft, colorful ao dai has become a unique highlight, both honoring the traditional beauty of Vietnamese women and sending a message about preserving and spreading national culture in the overseas Vietnamese community.

The Ambassador emphasized: "Each Ao Dai today is not only a traditional beauty, but also a bridge connecting the hearts of Vietnam in Poland with the Fatherland. This is an extremely precious spiritual value, contributing to connecting the community and spreading the image of a friendly, traditional Vietnam to international friends."

Ms. Tong Thu Huong, President of the Vietnamese Women's Association in Poland, was moved to express her joy at the positive response of many community organizations and women: "The solidarity and spirit of solidarity of our people is the greatest strength for us to preserve Vietnamese identity and pass it on to future generations."

During the special activity, all staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Poland and the community formed a map and a heart of Vietnam, creating a touching and sacred moment. That image is like an affirmation: no matter where they are, Vietnamese people always share the same blood and love for their homeland, their motherland.
