According to Ms. Le Thi Huyen, Principal of An Thoi 3 Primary School, because this year's opening ceremony will be held online at the same time as the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Ministry of National Education at the National Convention Center, while the internet connection in Hon Roi is not guaranteed, students may not be able to watch; at the same time, because a group of philanthropists came to Hon Roi to give gifts to disadvantaged students, the school decided to hold an early opening ceremony for students at this school. The main school in Ward 2 - An Thoi will be held on September 5 as scheduled.

Previously, the An Giang Department of Education and Training issued a document guiding the implementation of a number of activities before school starts, at the beginning of the school year, and guiding the organization of the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year.
