After her husband passed away, businesswoman Ngoc Tien - wife of actor Quy Binh - and her relatives were present at the Ministry of National Defense Funeral Home (HCMC) to arrange his funeral. Although devastated, she still tried to keep her spirits up to take care of everything with her family.

According to Ngoc Tien, the day before Quy Binh passed away, she took her children to Hoc Mon to visit him. However, at the same time, Quy Binh suddenly wanted to be taken by relatives to visit his old house in District 8.

She choked up and shared: "That day, I took my child back to Hoc Mon and then went to take care of some work. While discussing work with a partner, I suddenly received a phone call saying that he was in critical condition. The family immediately transferred him to the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City. That night, his heart rate stabilized, but in the end... he still did not survive."

Mr. Tri - Quy Binh's brother - said that in his final moments, the actor expressed his wish for the funeral to be held in a quiet atmosphere. He also wished to be cremated and his ashes brought back to Can Gio to be scattered at sea.

Actor Quy Binh once joined the border force, stationed in Can Gio district when he was 18 years old. This was the place that opened up his artistic path. Therefore, he hopes to return to the place associated with his youth.

Businesswoman Ngoc Tien shared that during his lifetime, Quy Binh was a simple person who did not like noise. Understanding her husband's wishes, the family held the funeral in a quiet atmosphere, without drums and trumpets, only soft music performed by him.

"I chose to hold the funeral at the funeral home to have a spacious and solemn space, creating conditions for colleagues and audiences to come and pay their respects. The family also wants the ceremony to be simple, and would like to refrain from accepting condolences, fresh flowers or items. Visitors are asked not to livestream or use phones in the coffin area to protect privacy," said Ms. Tien.

Quy Binh's wife also revealed that during the years they were together, the actor was always worried about his wife because he was afraid she would be under pressure when marrying a famous man. In the face of gossip, she always kept quiet, focused on taking care of her family, and did not care about "gossip".

On the day Quy Binh passed away, director Hoang Nhat Nam attracted attention when he shared a text message the actor sent in February 2023 asking the director to care for and support his wife.

Director Hoang Nhat Nam emotionally shared: "Through the text messages, it can be seen that Binh loved his wife very much. Even though it was just a small thing, he was still thoughtful and attentive. Quy Binh passed away at a young age, leaving behind his wife and young children. I was shocked and sympathetic."
