Van Lang (Lang Son): Promoting support for production development and livelihood support for poor households

Implementing Project 4 on Developing vocational education and sustainable employment, under the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction, the Center for Vocational Education and Continuing Education of Van Lang district has promoted and opened 07 vocational training classes for rural workers with 210 students; coordinated with the district's Statistics Office to conduct surveys and statistics on vocational training needs.

According to the Report of the People's Committee of Van Lang district, from 2021 to the first 6 months of 2024, the district has opened 40 vocational training classes for rural workers, with 1,349 students participating (In 2021, there were 2 classes with 70 students; in 2022, there were 15 classes with 503 students; in 2023, there were 15 classes with 506 students; in the first 6 months of 2024, there were 8 classes with 270 students).

The total number of newly employed workers from 2021 to the first 6 months of 2024 reached 3,385 workers, the rate of trained workers in the total number of working-age workers to date reached 62.4%.
