That was the direction of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang at the conference to review the Party's inspection and supervision work in 2023 and deploy tasks in 2024 organized by the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee this afternoon, December 28. In his speech, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang affirmed that the inspection and supervision work plays an important role in the work of building and protecting the Party. In recent times, the Inspection Commissions at all levels have made efforts and presided over many comprehensive inspections and supervisions with high efficiency. The Provincial Inspection Commission has advised the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on many important issues in leading and directing the comprehensive socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and social order and safety in the area.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council emphasized that 2024 is the year to accelerate and make breakthroughs in implementing the goals set by the Provincial Party Committee for the 17th term, 2020-2025 term, while also aiming towards the Party Congresses at all levels and the Provincial Party Congress for the 18th term, 2025-2030 term. Therefore, the Inspection Commission at all levels is required to strengthen the information and propaganda work on the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State related to inspection and supervision work; actively inspect, supervise and resolve cases related to corruption and negativity; build a contingent of truly capable cadres who can meet increasingly high tasks in the new situation; advise Party committees at all levels to be determined to implement the set targets and tasks; inspect and advise Party committees and authorities at all levels to effectively implement national target programs for ethnic minority areas.

According to the report of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, in 2023, Party committees at all levels inspected 353 lower-level Party organizations and 690 Party members. Party committees at all levels and Party cells inspected 5 Party organizations and 53 Party members when there were signs of violations. After inspection, it was concluded that 20 Party members had to be disciplined. Party committees at all levels inspected 10 lower-level Party organizations and 50 Party members when there were signs of violations. After inspection, it was concluded that 2 Party organizations and 30 Party members had to be disciplined.

Regarding the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, during the year, it conducted inspections when there were signs of violations against 4 party organizations and 3 party members. Party committees at all levels and party cells disciplined 3 party organizations by reprimand and disciplined 330 party members. The Inspection Commission at all levels disciplined 1 party organization and 58 party members. The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission reviewed and disciplined 6 party members. Party committees and Inspection Commissions at all levels also performed well the tasks of regular supervision and thematic supervision of party organizations and party members...

In general, the Party's inspection, supervision and disciplinary work has achieved many positive results. The inspection of signs of violations has been focused on by Party committees and Inspection Commissions at all levels; thematic supervision has also been strengthened and gradually improved in quality. The disciplinary work against Party organizations and Party members who violate the law has basically ensured compliance with principles and procedures, contributing to maintaining strict discipline within the Party.

However, the Party's inspection and supervision work in 2023 still has some limitations. Therefore, at the conference, delegates discussed and pointed out difficulties and shortcomings, and shared experiences in the process of performing inspection and supervision tasks. To further promote inspection and supervision work, tighten discipline and administrative discipline, prevent and combat corruption and negativity, the conference agreed to set out 9 key tasks to focus on implementing in 2024.
