In order to gradually modernize the power grid and promote automation in the operation and business of electricity, Quang Tri Power Company (PC Quang Tri) has connected more network subscribers to install remote control system devices (SCADA/DMS), remote data collection systems (RF-Spider, DSPM), grid fault warning and indication systems (SRFI)... to collect data from the distribution grid system and remote customer data.

Accordingly, relevant departments can monitor subscribers of the units; monitor reported data on the number of subscribers of the units in the year, payment costs by network operator, by each program of the units and information about subscribers in use such as packages, unit prices, phone numbers, subscriber serial numbers, connection dates, usage dates, using units, usage programs... through the unit's electronic information portal.
The program exploits data from two main sources: the first is the unit's internal operating programs such as remote switching device management programs, remote data collection programs, and failure indicator device warning programs; the second is monthly periodic subscriber information from network operators such as monthly usage data, subscriber status, subscriber connection location, number of days with data generation, etc.
From there, the digital subscriber management program will automatically analyze the data to display on the web interface. Thereby, helping leaders of units, general department staff, and subscriber management staff of units to grasp the situation of using network subscribers according to the program and unit to have appropriate adjustments to the needs of using subscribers according to each program and unit.
The digital program for mobile subscriber management is regularly updated with information from the network operator, helping to continuously update reports.
In particular, the system will be decentralized for each user so that users can update subscriber information such as changing subscriptions, changing packages, changing usage programs... helping operators grasp information quickly to have good control over the use of subscribers who have been connected to the network.
Previously, when there was no mobile subscriber digitization program, the unit allocated and managed mobile subscribers on the program manually, such as handing over and receiving by hand-signed minutes, saving Excel spreadsheets of subscriber information installed by location and unit. Manually performing on paper minutes and Excel spreadsheets took a lot of time to manage and search for subscriber information when checking.
Now, with the digitalization program, mobile subscriber management has helped units to accurately and quickly monitor and control the data of network subscribers in use by each program and unit instead of the previous manual subscriber management, which was time-consuming, disjointed in management and not very accurate.
The mobile subscriber digitization program helps operators proactively check and promptly adjust subscriber information and packages to suit each operating system. Helps managers have an overall view of the usage of subscription packages by each network operator and by each program. In particular, it helps proactively monitor, promptly grasp, and manage the operation of remote control programs and remote meter data collection of the company.
The implementation of the mobile subscriber digitization program has shortened the time for searching and looking up subscriber information; proactively planned and estimated costs for new development and monthly payment; proactively managed and operated the unit's production and business, contributing to improving the quality of power grid operations.
This is one of the effective applications of digital transformation in the production and business activities of PC Quang Tri.
