The concert featured three works by PITchaikovsky (1840 – 1893), a composer representing the Russian Romantic school: “The Nutcracker Overture, op. 71”, “Violin Concerto in D major, op. 35” and “Symphony No. 5 in E minor, op. 64”.
All three works performed bear outstanding characteristics of Tchaikovsky's style, in general, talented in orchestration, harmony in compositional technique and spiritual depth in musical art.

The concert featured the Hanoi Symphony Orchestra and famous talents such as conductor Orhan Salliel, who is a guest conductor at many symphony orchestras around the world and has conducted in more than 19 countries, including the Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Germany, the United States, China, Mexico, Japan, Spain, etc.
Violin soloist Sara Dragan is a talented young violinist, a phenomenon of her generation. She is a 22-year-old award-winning violinist. She has emerged as one of the most outstanding violinists of her generation.
And guest artist Chuong Vu, a regular soloist with all major orchestras in Vietnam, has appeared as a guest soloist with orchestras in the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Slovakia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Taiwan, performing a wide range of concertos and famous works for violin and orchestra.
