On the afternoon of August 12, at the Vietnam Military History Museum, the exhibition "Keeping the Oath of Independence" opened, opening a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
The exhibition displays more than 300 images, documents, and precious artifacts, recreating the journey of fighting to protect independence, build and develop the country, divided into three themes: “Independence Autumn” about the seething spirit of 1945; “Keeping the Oath” about the arduous but glorious journey of the nation; and “Glory of Vietnam” about the achievements of the integration period.
The highlight of this year’s exhibition is the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR) technology, making history more vivid and closer. Visitors can use VR glasses to “stand” in the middle of Ba Dinh Square during the Declaration of Independence in 1945, or rotate and zoom in on 3D models of rare artifacts.
Not only recreating the past, the exhibition “Keeping the Oath of Independence” also opens up a new approach, helping today’s and future generations understand the sacred value of independence and sovereignty , while at the same time arousing national pride and the responsibility to preserve and promote traditions./.
