In 2024, the entire Quang Tri province organized 32 voluntary blood donation campaigns with a total of over 11,000 people registering to donate blood. The total number of whole blood units received was 10,854 units, reaching 103% of the plan, equivalent to 1.66% of the province's population participating in blood donation. The number of platelet units received was 40 units.

In particular, many individuals have voluntarily donated blood many times; 2,765 people donated 1.4 units of blood/person, equivalent to 350ml each time.

In recent times, the voluntary blood donation movement has continued to receive attention from Party committees and authorities at all levels; the efforts of the voluntary blood donation steering committees at all levels and the active support of all classes of people have achieved many positive results, completing the assigned targets.

The highlight of the propaganda and mobilization of voluntary blood donation in recent times is that the steering committees for voluntary blood donation at all levels have strengthened and promoted the application of information technology, using social networks such as Facebook, Zalo, TikTok... to mobilize people to participate in donating platelets, donating emergency blood at hospitals, informing all classes of people about the time and location of mobile blood donation campaigns so that people know and actively and voluntarily participate in donating blood to save lives.
