Giving charity houses to students in remote areas

On the morning of August 12, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education coordinated with the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Lam Dong province and a number of related units to organize the donation of charity houses and water purifiers in Dinh Trang Thuong commune.

The delegation gave support to build a charity house for Ka Hoai Uyen's family.

The delegation carried out the procedures to hand over the charity house to the family of Ka Hoai Uyen, a student of class 8A3 at Tan Thuong Secondary School.

Although her family is in a particularly difficult situation, Ka Hoai Uyen always strives to excel and achieves good results in her studies.

The new house has an area of over 80 m2 , built with a total cost of over 350 million VND; of which, Tam An Pagoda (Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat) and Buddhists supported 100 million VND, the remaining amount was contributed by family members.

On this occasion, the delegation also presented 4 water purifiers and 2 water filter tanks to Tan Thuong Secondary School and Tan Thuong Kindergarten, contributing to providing clean water for teachers and students.

In addition, the delegation also presented 70 gifts to students in difficult circumstances. The total value of the gifts in the program was about 140 million VND.

This is not only practical material support but also a source of spiritual encouragement, adding motivation for teachers and students in remote areas and ethnic minority areas to confidently enter the new school year.
