The cooperation agreement on propaganda was signed by the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City and the Newspaper Nguoi Lao Dong within the framework of the award ceremony of the 4th "Listening to people's suggestions" contest, which took place on the morning of August 29.

Specifically, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper will hand over data from 4 "Listening to people's suggestions" contests to post on the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation portal (https://chuyendoiso.hochiminhcity.gov.vn).

This will help Ho Chi Minh City leaders to record people's suggestions and monitor the reception of departments and localities in a close, clear and transparent manner.

Mr. To Dinh Tuan, Editor-in-Chief of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, said that after 4 times of organization, it has attracted the attention of readers. Starting from October 2022, the contest focuses on the topic of Accommodation and housing for low-income people and what should Ho Chi Minh City do to effectively promote Resolution 31 of the Politburo?

The editor-in-chief of the Lao Dong Newspaper appreciated the articles that showed the dedication of the authors, especially the experts and patriotic intellectuals at home and abroad in many fields with the desire to contribute part of their intelligence to the city.

"Each work is truly a plan, solution, or idea that contributes to the development and constant efforts of the city named after Uncle Ho," journalist To Dinh Tuan shared.

As the second prize winner, Mr. Pham Chanh Truc, former Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, assessed that the two topics of this year's contest were very current and were urgent issues for the city. He also requested the organizing committee to synthesize the works to research and identify solutions to send to the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City to put the suggestions into practice.
