Da Nang City rises 7 places on 'global tourism attractiveness' ranking

Tourism platform Yanolja Research (Korea) has just announced that Da Nang City has increased its ranking by 7 places in the 'global tourism attractiveness' ranking.

On July 26, the Da Nang City Tourism Promotion Center announced that according to the announcement of the research project "Global Tourism City Attractiveness Index" conducted by the tourism platform Yanolja Research (Korea), Da Nang City ranked 39th in the "global tourism attractiveness" ranking, up 7 places compared to 2024.

The results are based on social data and tourist sentiment analysis. The evaluation criteria in the index include: urban beauty and natural landscape, culture and history, experiential tourism content, services and hospitality.

The Da Nang City Tourism Promotion Center believes that this is a remarkable step forward, reflecting the positive results and efforts of the tourism industry to improve the tourist experience, affirming the growing attraction of Da Nang on the international tourism map.

The "Global Tourism City Attractiveness Index" research project evaluated 191 tourist cities around the world . Da Nang City is one of three representatives of Vietnam in the top 50, along with Nha Trang (ranked 31) and Hanoi (ranked 41).

In Asia alone, Nha Trang ranked 18th, Da Nang City ranked 20th.

Da Nang City is highly appreciated for its improvement in service quality and friendliness. Regarding the criteria of "urban beauty and natural landscape", Da Nang City with its long coastline, majestic mountains, modern architecture in harmony with tradition, is ranked 49th globally.

According to the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center, the assessment results help tourist cities identify strengths and weaknesses in their tourism brand positioning strategies; Da Nang City will also reshape its marketing strategy, diversify tourism products and expand its market.
