On the afternoon of April 5, at Nguyen Du High School for the Gifted, the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training held the closing ceremony of the Dak Lak Provincial Secondary School Teacher Competition for the 2024-2025 school year.

Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Do Tuong Hiep delivered the closing speech of the contest.

The Provincial Excellent Secondary School Teacher Competition is a meaningful and practical activity held every four years to discover, recognize and honor outstanding teachers, and at the same time promote advanced models in the education sector; create conditions for teachers and educational managers to demonstrate their professional capacity, innovate teaching methods, actively study and exchange teaching experiences, contributing to improving the quality of education and developing their careers.

The organizing committee awarded certificates of achievement for the title "Excellent Secondary School Teacher of the Province" to teachers.

The contest was attended by 419 teachers from 15 Departments of Education and Training in the province. These are excellent teachers selected from competitions for excellent teachers at junior high schools.

Candidates have gone through 2 rounds of competition including: Presenting measures to contribute to improving the quality of teaching and learning of individuals at educational institutions where teachers are working; Practicing teaching 01 lesson, teaching content in grades 6, 7, 8, 9 of the 2018 General Education Program.

The Organizing Committee awarded the teachers who won first prize.

According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, during the competition, teachers not only demonstrated their teaching talent but also demonstrated their love for the profession, enthusiasm, creativity and ability to apply modern teaching methods into classroom practice.

The competitions brought rich and vivid learning experiences to students, and were also an opportunity for teachers to demonstrate their professional capacity. For the Practical Teaching 01 Lesson competition, at the competition, 100% of teachers innovated teaching methods towards developing students' capacity. Many teachers used teaching equipment, applied information technology and AI effectively, and had high application skills... For the competition Presenting measures to contribute to improving the quality of teaching, teachers presented many rich topics, full of pedagogical significance, urgency and high feasibility, including some topics that can be replicated and widely applied in teaching...

The Organizing Committee awarded the Delegation Flag to outstanding units.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded certificates of achievement of the title "Excellent Secondary School Teacher of Dak Lak Province, school year 2024-2025" to 396 contestants; awarded Certificates of Merit to 131 outstanding individuals who won prizes at the contest, including 14 First prizes, 25 Second prizes, 37 Third prizes and 55 Encouragement prizes.

The Organizing Committee also awarded the Delegation Flag to 6 units with high achievements at the competition, in which the First Prize belonged to the Department of Education and Training of Buon Ma Thuot City; the Second Prize belonged to the Departments of Education and Training: Krong Ana and Ea Sup; the Third Prize belonged to the Departments of Education and Training of the districts: Ea Kar, M'Drak, Cu M'gar.

The results of the Competition are one of the important bases for assessing the current status of the staff of educational institutions. From there, it serves as a basis for developing training and development plans to improve professional capacity and develop teachers' capacity to meet the requirements of innovation according to the 2018 General Education Program.
