The highest rate of cashless social security payments in the province

Implementing Directive No. 21/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on promoting digital transformation in non-cash social security payments, in recent times, Cam Lo district, Quang Tri province has directed functional agencies and local authorities to synchronously and drastically deploy many solutions so that the social security payment process is gradually digitized.

To date, Cam Lo is the locality with the highest rate of non-cash social security payments in the whole province, reaching 76.08% (Dong Ha city 43.27%; Quang Tri town 48.02%; districts: Gio Linh 42.03%; Vinh Linh 32.12%; Hai Lang 32.1%; Trieu Phong 49.21%; Dakrong 22.1%; Huong Hoa 21.17%).

According to statistics from the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Cam Lo district, the whole district has 4,269 social security policy beneficiaries receiving monthly allowances, including 864 meritorious people and 3,405 social protection beneficiaries. As of December 2024, Cam Lo district has made non-cash social security payments to 3,248 beneficiaries, including 858 meritorious people (reaching a rate of 99.31%), 2,390 social protection beneficiaries (reaching a rate of 70.19%).

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Bac, Vice Chairman of Cam Lo District People's Committee said: "In order to implement the policy of promoting digital transformation in non-cash social security payments, the District People's Committee has issued an implementation plan. During the implementation process, there were some initial difficulties such as people not accessing it, and some administrative procedures arising.

However, thanks to the efforts of the district leaders and the participation of relevant departments and branches, up to now, the rate of people receiving non-cash social security payments in the district has reached 76.08%. This is a great effort to carry out digital transformation in the area."
