On the afternoon of April 10, Comrade Trieu Dinh Le, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired a meeting between the Standing Provincial Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) and socio-political organizations to evaluate the results of the implementation of tasks in the first quarter and deploy key tasks in the second quarter of 2025.

Attending were comrade Be Thanh Tinh, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

In the first quarter, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations focused on leading and directing the effective implementation of key goals and tasks in the first months of 2025. Oriented propaganda on outstanding political, socio-economic events, and national and local holidays. Actively carried out social security work, making an important contribution to strengthening people's trust in the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's policies and laws.

The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee effectively carried out propaganda, mobilization, and gathering of people from all walks of life; consolidated, strengthened, and promoted the strength of the great national unity bloc, built and protected the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; advised on the implementation of the program to mobilize support for housing for the poor and people in difficult housing circumstances in the province. The Provincial "For the Poor" Fund received over 2,040 million VND, distributed 44,281 Tet gifts to poor households, near-poor households, disadvantaged families, policy families, poor students, etc. worth over 23.9 billion VND. In 2024, the Provincial Relief Fund received over 294 billion VND, over 254 tons of rice, 360 tons of necessities worth over 276 billion VND distributed to localities and units.

The Provincial Farmers' Association opened 16 training classes, transferring science and technology to farmers with 793 members. Organized 1,154 propaganda campaigns, policies and guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the State, programs and plans for local socio-economic development with 56,095 officials and farmers' members participating.

The Provincial Women's Union promotes propaganda activities, education on traditions, education on qualities and ethics for cadres, members and women, associated with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics and style in 2025. Through propaganda, members and women actively participate in patriotic emulation movements... 795 times, with 39,549 participants; organizes a conference to contact voters with the theme "Provincial People's Council Delegates with Women" in 2025...

The Provincial Veterans Association coordinated with departments, branches and organizations to visit and present 555 gifts to policy families, meritorious people and members in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Lunar New Year, with a total value of nearly 313 million VND. The Central Vietnam Veterans Association allocated funds to support the construction of 5 "Veterans' Gratitude" houses, with a budget of 400 million VND. Participating in the construction of rural roads and intra-field ditches, 735 working days were spent, supporting over 69 million VND, donating 5,732 ^m2 of land; supporting 22 households to move livestock out from under the house floors, with a budget of nearly 25 million VND.

The Provincial Federation of Labor effectively carried out the work of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests and taking care of union members and workers through social mobilization and receiving gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng". Launched a competition among union members, workers and civil servants to compete in "Completing the Dong Dang (Lang Son) - Tra Linh (Cao Bang) Expressway Investment and Construction Project"...

The Provincial Youth Union successfully organized the 17th Provincial Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children in 2025; guided over 8,130 people to use online public services; inaugurated 2 "Restaurants for Children" projects, started construction of 3 "Red Scarf Houses", 1 "Dream Bookcase" project; awarded 10,392 gifts and scholarships to children and students in difficult circumstances with a total value of the projects, gifts and scholarships of over 3.5 billion VND; admitted 1,523 new members; introduced 774 outstanding members for the Party to consider; admitted 32 new Party members.

In the second quarter, the provincial Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations continued to propagate the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; propagate the Party congresses at all levels, the 20th Provincial Party Congress, the 14th National Party Congress; propagate the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus and administrative units; units coordinated with the provincial Fatherland Front to carry out the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus of the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations according to the Conclusion of the Politburo and the Secretariat; grasp and orient public opinion, thoughts, and lives of cadres, union members, workers, and the masses; coordinate and resolve cases related to the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.

At the conference, delegates discussed and clarified the results achieved in the first quarter; proposed and recommended solutions to implement tasks in the second quarter and the coming time.

Concluding the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Trieu Dinh Le emphasized: Units continue to coordinate with the Provincial Fatherland Front to reorganize and streamline the apparatus of the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and State according to the Conclusion of the Politburo and the Secretariat; prepare well and successfully organize grassroots congresses to advance to the provincial level; promote socio-economic development to ensure national defense and security, strive to achieve the economic growth target of 8% or more; complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses; participate in responding to major anniversaries of the country.
