Specifically, students, trainees, and teachers will have the Lunar New Year holiday in 2024 from February 6 to February 14, that is, from December 27, Quy Mao year to January 5, Giap Thin year.

Officials, civil servants, and employees of the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Education and Training of districts/cities; kindergartens, primary schools, junior high schools, high schools, continuing education centers, vocational guidance - continuing education centers, vocational education - continuing education centers, and colleges of education will have a holiday for the Lunar New Year 2024 from February 8 to February 14, that is, from December 29, Quy Mao year to January 5, Giap Thin year.

With less than 2 weeks left until the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024, to ensure security, order and safety at educational institutions during the Tet holiday and Spring Festival season of 2024, the Department of Education and Training of Nam Dinh province has issued an Official Dispatch directing the Department of Education and Training of districts and cities; units under the Department; Vocational Education and Continuing Education Centers to strengthen direction and organization to thoroughly grasp the directive documents of the Government, Ministry of Education and Training , Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee and related sectors to raise awareness and responsibility for managers, teachers, staff and students.

Organize for managers, teachers, staff, students to sign a commitment with the school and local authorities to strictly implement legal regulations on security, order, and safety; commit not to manufacture, produce, trade, store, or illegally use fireworks, weapons, explosives, and supporting tools; not to participate in social evils; prevent and combat school violence; comply with laws on traffic order and safety (especially regulations on alcohol concentration when driving).

Strengthen education, equip and guide students with knowledge and skills to prevent and avoid accidents, injuries, drowning, falls and falls; Check and review areas at risk of fire, flooding, landslides, falling trees, collapsing walls, collapsing ceilings, falling ceiling fans, especially in dormitories, dormitories, practice rooms, laboratories, fences and railings; resolutely do not use works that have expired or do not ensure safety according to regulations; promptly report to competent authorities for renovation, repair, upgrading and new construction.

Coordinate with local authorities, police forces and relevant sectors in ensuring security, order and traffic safety at educational institutions during holidays and Tet; actively participate in detecting and denouncing crimes, supporting functional forces in crime prevention and control, maintaining security and order in the area.

In addition, we also coordinate with local health agencies and relevant units to effectively implement environmental sanitation; disease prevention and control; continue to strictly implement legal regulations on food safety and hygiene at educational institutions, especially in collective kitchens.
