In recent days, information has appeared on social media sites about a child patient who died at Binh Duong General Hospital and whose family planned to put him in a styrofoam box and take him home because they had no money. On October 26, the Binh Duong Department of Health reported on the incident.

Accordingly, on September 25, Ms. T. went to the hospital to give birth to a baby boy by cesarean section, weighing 1,050 grams and was transferred to the hospital's Neonatal Department for treatment, but due to the severity of the illness, the baby died on the afternoon of October 24. The baby's hospitalization costs of more than 33 million VND were fully covered by health insurance.

When the child died, the Neonatal Department contacted and handed over the patient to the family according to regulations. The family then informed that someone had provided a vehicle to take the child home for burial.
