Two more Intangible Cultural Heritages were registered

Hue beef noodle soup recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage

Specifically, it is the Bhuoih Haro Tơme festival (Celebrating the new rice) of the Co Tu people in the communes of Nam Dong, Long Quang, Khe Tre in Hue City and Folk knowledge about Hue beef noodle soup.

These are unique cultural values associated with the daily life, beliefs and traditional cuisine of local people. Being listed not only contributes to affirming the indigenous cultural values of Hue but also opens up opportunities to preserve, promote and more widely promote these precious heritages to the domestic and foreign communities.

In the decisions, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigned the Chairmen of People's Committees at all levels where the newly announced intangible cultural heritage is located, within the scope of their duties and powers, to carry out State management in accordance with the provisions of the law on cultural heritage.
