Changes in receiving applications for issuance and renewal of driving licenses and specialized motorbike licenses

Recently, the Department of Transport issued Document No. 4143/SGTVT-QLVT on receiving applications for issuance and renewal of driving licenses and specialized motorbike licenses in the province and preparations for issuing new driving licenses from January 1.

To ensure the time to print and return the driver's licenses of people who have received them according to the old class before 5:00 p.m. on December 31, 2024, the Phu Tho Department of Transport will stop receiving administrative procedures in the field of specialized motorbikes from December 28, 2024 to hand over to the Phu Tho Provincial Police.

In addition, regarding the preparation for training and testing management according to the new regulations effective from January 1, 2025. The Department of Transport recommends that training facilities and driving testing centers in the province proactively update and study the new regulations guiding the Law on Traffic Safety and Order in 2023. Adjust the vehicle class for driving tests in the form and on the road to update and transfer the vehicle class for testing according to regulations.
