Thang Binh organizes conference on land and mineral resources management

Currently, the land records system and land management database of 11 communes in the eastern and central regions of Thang Binh district have been built, integrated, operated and exploited.

The total area of land consolidation and plot exchange has been surveyed and is 5,783.9 hectares, accounting for 93.53% of the total area of land consolidation and plot exchange. The area of land use right certificates has been granted for 3,044.2 hectares, accounting for 53% of the total area of land consolidation and plot exchange. 12,000 certificates/3,044.2 hectares have been granted for land use right certificates after land consolidation and plot exchange.

According to the summary reports of the People's Committees of communes and towns, by the end of 2023, there were about 1,030 cases of violations of land laws in the district. The total area of public land reviewed and recorded according to land records is 1,199.1 hectares.

Regarding mineral resources in the district, they mainly include minerals used as common construction materials. In addition, there are also white sand resources in the eastern region and areas with gold resources. The district has 27 mineral mines for common construction materials that have been planned for exploration, exploitation and use of minerals for common construction materials.

At the conference, sectors and localities presented their reports on the results achieved in the management and use of public land; the current situation of violations of land laws; the current situation of housing construction on garden and pond land in the same plot of land with housing (illegal land use purpose change) and solutions to handle violations in the coming time.

Along with that, the shortcomings and limitations in handling administrative violations and implementing decisions on handling administrative violations in the field of land in Thang Binh district; solutions in the coming time.
