The event aims to summarize and evaluate the outstanding achievements that the Journal has achieved during its 30-year development. Over the years, the Journal has made important contributions to the cause of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, promoting the scientific research process, and contributing to the building of a modern, professional Vietnamese revolutionary press.

The event is also an opportunity to review the formation and development of the Magazine, recognizing the tireless efforts of generations of staff, editors, reporters and collaborators - those who have contributed and laid a solid foundation for the development of the Magazine.

Through the process of construction and development, with its contributions and achievements, the Journal of Political Theory and Communication has been awarded many times by the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, the Academy of Journalism and Propaganda, and the Vietnam Journalists Association with the Outstanding Emulation Flag at the Ministry level, Certificate of Merit for the Unit with Outstanding Achievements, Typical Unit in the Patriotic Emulation Movement, and many other important contributions to the cause of Vietnam's revolutionary journalism.

In particular, in 2023, the Magazine was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister for its outstanding achievements in informing theoretical and practical issues in the fields of political theory, journalism, and communications.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Minh Son, Director of the Academy of Journalism and Communication, highly appreciated the contributions and efforts of the Journal of Political Theory and Communication. From a traditional printed journal, the Journal has quickly become a prestigious forum in the fields of political theory, communication and social sciences and humanities.

Dr. Pham Minh Son hopes that the Magazine needs to meet the requirements of the new era, improve the quality of content, and evaluate the country's hot current issues. Articles need to be placed in a broader regional and global context in addition to traditional topics. The Magazine needs to continue to innovate, apply digital technology, and diversify presentation methods to make the publication attractive and appealing to readers, especially young readers.

At the Workshop, the Organizing Committee acknowledged many valuable comments and opinions, contributing significantly to helping the Journal of Political Theory and Communication continue to promote its strengths, entering a new stage with confidence and determination to excellently fulfill its mission.
