On the afternoon of August 14, at the National Assembly House, a workshop was held to "Provide comments on the framework of digital knowledge, skills and lesson plans for training for the movement "Digital literacy - Digital National Assembly" chaired by Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Le Minh Hoan.

Speaking at the workshop, Chairman of the Committee for Science, Technology and Environment Le Quang Huy stated that recently, the Standing Committee of the Committee for Science, Technology and Environment has chaired and coordinated with relevant agencies and experts to urgently develop a draft set of documents to serve the implementation of the movement "Digital literacy - Digital National Assembly" including questions to survey digital knowledge and skills; digital knowledge and skills framework; draft lesson plans for teaching basic digital knowledge and skills. The document is designed for agencies of the National Assembly, the National Assembly Office, and National Assembly delegations in provinces and centrally run cities. The workshop aims to collect comments to continue perfecting the draft set of documents.
Mr. Le Quang Huy said: “We also envision the Digital National Assembly as a large, modern “house” in which those who live and use it need to be equipped with life skills through training courses. The house is only truly effective when those who live and work in it know and are proficient in using all the amenities.”

Introducing the document, Vice Chairman of the Committee for Science, Technology and Environment Tran Van Khai said that the document has issued a framework of basic digital knowledge and skills and guidelines for assessing the level of digital skills dissemination nationwide. The framework of digital knowledge and skills of the movement "Digital literacy - Digital National Assembly" ensures full compliance with the regulations and standards of digital skills set by the state. The framework of digital knowledge and skills is built at 4 practical levels: basic, intermediate, advanced and specialized; creating a clear skills development roadmap, from basic to specialized, ensuring "the right people, the right needs".
At the workshop, delegates focused on giving specific comments on the draft Framework for digital knowledge and skills and lesson plans for teaching digital knowledge and skills to serve the movement "Digital literacy - Digital National Assembly".
