Enthusiastically responding to the contest to learn about "The land, people and traditions of Vinh Linh"

The online contest to learn about "Land, people and traditions of Vinh Linh" organized by the Propaganda Department of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee in coordination with Vinh Linh District Party Committee is one of the meaningful and practical activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Vinh Linh tradition on August 25 (1954 - 2024) and towards the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Vinh Linh Area on June 16 (1955 - 2025).

The contest takes place from July 8, 2024 to August 4, 2024. Through the contest, it aims to promote and raise awareness among cadres, party members, union members, association members and people of all walks of life about the history, cultural traditions, land and people of Vinh Linh...

After the first 2 weeks of competition (from July 8 to 21, 2024), the competition attracted the participation of a large number of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, youth union members, and people in Quang Tri province and many provinces and cities across the country.

At the end of the first and second weeks, there were 10,727 participants, specifically: the first week had 5,198 participants from 28 provinces and cities nationwide; the second week had 5,529 participants from 54 provinces and cities nationwide.

Among them, there are localities with a high number of contestants such as Quang Ninh, Nghe An, Bac Giang ...

Particularly in Quang Tri province, the contest has attracted the attention, direction and active implementation of districts, towns, cities, agencies and units in the whole province with 9,908 cadres, party members and people participating. Typical examples include: Vinh Linh district, Dong Ha city, Huong Hoa district, Dakrong...

As the co-organizer of the contest, Vinh Linh is the locality with the largest number of contestants with 7,106 officials, party members and people participating, notably Ho Xa town, Trung Nam commune, Vinh Thuy commune, Cua Tung town...

After 2 weeks of competition, the Organizing Committee has selected 2 first prizes, 2 second prizes, 4 third prizes, and 10 consolation prizes for individuals with high results and will organize the award ceremony at the competition's closing ceremony, expected to be held in early August 2024.

Currently, the online contest to learn about "Land, people and traditions of Vinh Linh" is taking place in the third week from July 22 to 28, 2024. Officials and people inside and outside the province can participate in the contest at https://thitructuyen.ictquangtri.vn/.
