Accordingly, the commendation conference was held to recognize and honor outstanding workers in various types of enterprises who are Party members, have many achievements in labor and production; contribute to the work of Party building, building strong grassroots Trade Union organizations, especially the work of developing Party members who are workers in enterprises.

At the same time, the conference is an opportunity for party members to exchange and share experiences in the process of cultivating, training, and striving to become exemplary party members; encourage workers to strive to become party members; raise awareness and pride of union members when they are honored to stand in the Party's ranks. Affirm the responsibility of the Vietnam Trade Union in participating in building a clean and strong Party and political system.

Through the conference, promote the attention of Party committees and organizations at all levels in leading and directing the workers' movement and Trade Union activities, especially the work of developing Party members who are workers. Strengthen the close relationship between the Party and the working class, create motivation for Trade Union members to continue to strive, confidently move forward under the Party's flag, and contribute to building the homeland and country to become increasingly rich, civilized and modern.

The conditions for being commended and rewarded are that workers directly involved in production; managers from the level of production team leader (or equivalent) or lower in enterprises of all economic sectors with a Trade Union organization have worked for at least 10 years, and have been admitted to the Party for at least 3 years (as of November 30, 2024).

Along with that, workers who are party members must meet the standards of politics, ideology, ethics, lifestyle, working style, sense of organization and discipline; perform well the assigned duties and tasks; party members are classified as having completed their tasks well or better, in the period of 2018-2023, of which at least 1 year is classified as excellent. Priority is given to party members who have been awarded certificates of merit for Party work.

The expected time to hold the commendation conference is 2 days 15-16/2/2025 in Hanoi.
