According to VEC's announcement, the fee for using the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway is calculated based on the actual distance traveled, at 2,000 VND/km.
Currently, 6 toll stations are located on the sections of the expressway that have been put into operation, including: From the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong expressway intersection to Nguyen Van Tao intersection (Ho Chi Minh City) and the section from Phuoc An intersection to National Highway 51 ( Dong Nai ). All lanes apply non-stop toll collection (ETC).
The fee includes 8% value added tax, specifically as follows: For group 1 vehicles (vehicles with less than 12 seats, vehicles with a load capacity of less than 2 tons and public passenger buses), the fee ranges from over 5,000 - 112,000 VND/trip.
Group 2 (12-30 seat vehicles, vehicles with a load capacity from 2 tons to under 4 tons) fee ranges from 8,000 - 167,500 VND/trip.
Group 3 vehicles (vehicles with 31 seats or more, vehicles with a load capacity of 4 tons to less than 10 tons, tractors without trailers or semi-trailers), the fee ranges from 11,000 to 223,000 VND/trip.
Group 4 vehicles (vehicles with a load capacity from 10 tons to under 18 tons, vehicles carrying goods in 20-foot containers) must pay a fee of more than 13,350 - 279,000 VND/trip.
Group of 5-seat vehicles (vehicles with a load capacity of 18 tons or more, vehicles carrying goods in 40-foot containers), the fee is about 21,000 - 450,000 VND/trip.

Regarding the toll fee of 2,000 VND/km for the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway, a representative of VEC said that this financial plan has been approved by the Ministry of Construction . This ensures harmony between people's ability to pay and businesses' financial requirements. The proposed price adjustment cycle is 3 years/time, each time increasing by 12%.
The Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway Project is part of the North - South Expressway Construction Investment Project in the East, which started in July 2014 with VEC as the investor, with a total length of nearly 58 km, passing through Long An , Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai. Initially, the project had a total investment of 31,300 billion VND, but has now been reduced to more than 29,500 billion VND, using ODA loans from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and domestic counterpart funds.
Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway has 4 lanes, 2 emergency lanes, maximum speed of 100km/h. This is the largest expressway project in the South, connecting the East and Southwest regions.
In February, on the occasion of Lunar New Year, the sections Km0 - Km 3+420 and Km 50+530 - Km 57+581 of the expressway were put into temporary operation. Last April, Km 3+420 - Km 21+850 of the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway were put into operation.
The entire expressway is expected to be completed in 2026.
