The book recreates President Ho Chi Minh 's revolutionary journey, from his childhood in Sen village to the moment of reading the Declaration of Independence at Ba Dinh Square.

Young man Nguyen Tat Thanh traveled thousands of miles across many continents, witnessed oppression, found the light of Marxism-Leninism and the path to save the nation.

An important milestone was the birth of the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Association - a historical turning point of the Vietnamese revolution, a direct political, ideological and organizational preparation for the birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam . The Association created a core cadre team, with theoretical qualifications and practical experience, ready to shoulder the responsibility of leading the revolution.
