Determined to build and develop the Capital worthy of being the heart of the whole country

On August 14, the Hanoi Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee met with representatives of veteran revolutionaries, exemplary contributors, and former city leaders of all periods, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Attending the meeting were more than 400 delegates, veteran revolutionary cadres, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Viet Minh soldiers of Hoang Dieu citadel, exemplary meritorious people; and former city leaders of all periods.

Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, visited the delegates of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee affirmed that the victory of the August Revolution in 1945 was one of the most brilliant golden pages of history, a great turning point in the history of the Vietnamese nation; opening a new era - the era of national independence associated with socialism; bringing our people from the status of slaves to becoming masters of the country, masters of their own destiny.

Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, spoke at the meeting.

Reviewing the great achievements of the capital Hanoi and the country since the historical milestone of the August Revolution until now, the Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee stated that, promoting the revolutionary tradition, thoroughly grasping the guiding ideology of the Party Central Committee and General Secretary To Lam on "New Era - Era of national rise", the Party Committee, government and people of Hanoi are determined to build and develop the capital worthy of being the national political and administrative nerve center, the heart of the whole country; a major center of economy , culture, education and training, science - technology and international integration...

In the immediate future, Hanoi strives to complete and exceed the targets and objectives set out in the Resolution of the 17th Congress of the Hanoi Party Committee and prepare all conditions to successfully organize the 18th Hanoi Party Congress, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee hopes veteran revolutionary cadres will support and help Hanoi develop

Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai also expressed that in each step of development of the Capital, the Party Committee, government and people of Hanoi always wish to regularly receive the encouragement, motivation and sincere support of veteran revolutionary cadres, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, people with meritorious services to the revolution, and former leaders of the city through the periods.
