Specifically, Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank - Sacombank (STB) has just announced an update on information on shareholders owning 1% or more of charter capital.

According to the list, only 6 individuals and organizations hold more than 1% of Sacombank's capital.

The only individual shareholder is still Mr. Duong Cong Minh - Chairman of STB, with more than 62.56 million shares, equivalent to 3.32% ownership. People related to Mr. Minh hold more than 11.85 million shares, equivalent to 0.63%.

The change is mainly in the institutional shareholder group. Tianhong Vietnam is not on the latest list. Tianhong Vietnam belongs to Tianhong Asset Management (Tianhong AM), a fund management company based in China.

After the Chinese foreign fund divested from Sacombank, another fund related to Dragon Capital appeared in the bank's major shareholder structure.

Specifically, Vietnam Enterprise Investments Limited fund holds nearly 19.3 million shares, equivalent to 1.02% of STB's capital. In addition, an organization related to this fund also owns more than 22.6 million shares, accounting for 1.2% of charter capital.

Two "familiar" investment funds belonging to Dragon Capital, Norges Bank and Amersham Industries Limited, continue to hold shares in Sacombank.

Of which, Norges Bank currently owns more than 22.1 million shares, equivalent to 1.17% of capital - slightly down from the 1.27% announced in the last update in May.

In contrast, Amerhsam Industries Limited fund increased its ownership in Sacombank from 1% to 1.01% of capital. Related persons of this fund also increased their ownership from 1.14% of capital to 1.21% of capital.

The report also shows that foreign fund Pyn Elite has continuously reduced its ownership in Sacombank, from 5.77% of capital in May 2025 to 5.38% of capital. Currently, this foreign fund from Finland still owns 101.41 million STB shares.

The reduction in the proportion of STB shares owned by funds took place in the context of this code increasing quite strongly since the beginning of the year. In the last 3 months alone, STB has increased by 36%, bringing great results to shareholders holding capital.

Regarding business performance, Sacombank announced its Q2-2025 results with net interest income reaching VND6,585 billion, up 7.6% over the same period last year. Profit after tax was VND2,893 billion, up 32.9%.

After 6 months of 2025, this bank reported a profit after tax of 5,790 billion VND, an increase of 35%. Thanks to that, undistributed profit as of June 2025 increased to 31,148 billion VND. Many shareholders are still waiting for information on dividend payments after 10 years of "silence".
