The province needs to have a mechanism to encourage investment in technological innovation, improve product quality and create new products with higher competitiveness.

Quang Nam 's development space or "room" in terms of geography and territory is still large with a relatively synchronous transport infrastructure system but still lacking regional and international connectivity. Chu Lai Open Economic Zone needs to continue developing the urban system - Ky Ha seaport export processing zone, Chu Lai airport - international logistics hub. The Eastern region of the province, in addition to developing high-class tourism - services, needs to be supplemented with the development of high-tech related projects (semiconductors, data storage, biotechnology, etc.). The planning of Chu Lai as a mechanical center in the North - South high-speed railway project also brings great development opportunities.

Development space and ecosystem for businesses are important factors for leading enterprises and many dynamic and creative small and medium enterprises. Quang Nam's cultural space is extremely unique with two world cultural heritages, Hoi An and My Son, which need to be spread along the eastern and western mountainous regions of the province. Recently, many opinions have mentioned adjusting the boundaries of some provinces. If Quang Nam is selected, it will also be a factor promoting the advantages of the key economic region of Da Nang - Quang Nam - Quang Ngai.
