Over the past 7 years, many people have contributed to preparing vegetables, cooking, and serving at the restaurant without receiving any remuneration. The restaurant is open from Monday to Friday every week, from 10:30 every day until the rice runs out. Every day, the restaurant serves over 50 portions.
Customers only pay 1,000 VND/portion into the donation box, those who are kind can contribute more.
The restaurant was established and maintained by the Can Tho City Charity and Children's Rights Protection Association in collaboration with the KC Real Estate Association. Funding was mobilized from philanthropists. From August 18, 2025, the restaurant will sell frozen vegetarian food, and the profits will be contributed to the restaurant's operating fund. On the occasion of the 7th anniversary of its establishment, benefactors contributed and gave 30 gifts to people who often come to eat and are in difficult circumstances, each gift includes rice, noodles, necessities (worth over 400,000 VND/gift); gave 20 gifts to children of the Street Children's Club including candy, milk, handbags, water bottles, notebooks, etc.
