Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thong Nhat Ward, agencies, organizations in the area and all officers and soldiers of the Ward Police.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Pham The Tam - Chairman of the Ward People's Committee acknowledged and commended the important contributions of the Ward Police force in protecting security and order in the locality in recent times.
The Chairman of the Ward People's Committee emphasized: "I request that the Ward Police continue to build a clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern force to meet the requirements and tasks of protecting national security and ensuring social order and safety in the new era, the era of national growth."
Mr. Tam also requested that the Ward Police should promptly advise the Party Committee and the Ward People's Committee on policies and solutions to mobilize all levels and sectors to participate in ensuring political security, maintaining social order and safety, and traffic safety in the area.

At the ceremony, the Chairman of the Ward People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to the Thong Nhat Ward Police Department for their outstanding achievements in all aspects of work in the past time.
On the same afternoon, the People's Committee of Thong Nhat Ward organized a National Day for National Security Protection in Kep village with the participation of many people. At the festival, representatives of units and individuals discussed and exchanged experiences in building movements and propagating crime prevention and law violations in various fields.
During the program, the Ward Police and representatives of residential groups and villages signed an emulation agreement to participate in the movement of All People Protecting National Security. Along with that, the Chairman of the Ward People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 6 collectives and 9 individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement of All People Protecting National Security in 2025.
