Towards the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; 80th anniversary of the State Organization sector's tradition day (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025), on the morning of August 22, at Ho Chi Minh Square, Nghe An Department of Home Affairs coordinated with National Archives Center I - Department of State Records and Archives to organize the Opening of the Exhibition of archival documents with the theme "Nghe An - Historical journey 1802 - 1954".

Attending the opening ceremony were members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee: Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Viet Hung - Director of the Department of Home Affairs; Comrade Nguyen Thu Hoai - Deputy Director of the National Archives Center I.

The exhibition introduces nearly 200 versions of documents, images, maps, and drawings selected from many archives and research facilities at home and abroad. The content is divided into 3 parts:
- "Nghe An from 1802 to 1945": Depicts the formation and development process of Nghe An during the Nguyen Dynasty, especially since it was upgraded to a province in 1831.
- "Nghe An - the cradle of patriotic and revolutionary movements": Displaying many documents about the Can Vuong, Dong Du, Duy Tan movements, the dissemination of the national language, and the peak of the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement 1930 - 1931.
- "Nghe An from 1945 to 1954": Recreating the spirit of the August Revolution, along with Nghe An's great role as a rear base in the resistance war against French colonialism.

The exhibition is open to the public until September 2, 2025.
