Responding to this issue, a representative of the Hai Ba Trung District Department of Education and Training said that the Department had reviewed the entire process of making and printing the exam questions, concluding that the exam questions for gifted students were carried out in accordance with regulations, and that no individual or department had been found to have leaked information about the exam questions. There was no leaking of the Math exam questions.

According to the Hai Ba Trung District Education and Training Department, the Department signed a contract with teachers from other districts to create questions and develop a review program after forming the Hai Ba Trung District team to compete at the city level. This method has been used by the district for many years and has achieved good results.

A representative of the Hai Ba Trung Department of Education and Training also said that they had worked with Trung Vuong Secondary School, and this school also confirmed that there was no review question for gifted students similar to the question of Hai Ba Trung district.
