On the afternoon of December 19, a working delegation of the province led by Ms. Giang Thi Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited and presented gifts to a number of families whose houses had completely collapsed due to floods and had completed the construction of new houses in Muong Vi and Trinh Tuong communes, Bat Xat district.
Participating in the working delegation were the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bat Xat district.
Accordingly, the provincial delegation visited and presented gifts to 1 family in Lam Tien village, Muong Vi commune and 8 families in Ban Lau village, Trinh Tuong commune, Bat Xat district. These are households whose houses collapsed, washed away, and were completely damaged due to the impact of storm No. 3 (storm Yagi). Thanks to the support of the State, organizations and individuals, to date, the households have completed the construction of new houses.
At the places visited, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Giang Thi Dung kindly visited, encouraged, and shared difficulties with households affected by natural disasters, and gave gifts and wished the households to move to new homes to soon stabilize their lives and welcome the Lunar New Year 2025 warmly and happily.
Inspecting the construction progress of the resettlement area for households that had to move due to natural disasters in Ban Lau village, Trinh Tuong commune, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Bat Xat district to continue to pay attention and speed up the construction of houses for people so that they can move to new houses before the Lunar New Year of At Ty in 2025; actively remove difficulties, help people in flood-affected areas restore production, have jobs to increase income, and stabilize their lives in the coming time.
