Minimally invasive surgery through natural cavities is a technical advancement, providing effective treatment and maximum satisfaction for patients. Doctors also suggested that K Hospital transfer this technique to qualified local hospitals, increasing treatment opportunities for cancer patients.

Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Van Binh, Deputy Director of K Hospital and Dr. Le Tri Chinh, Head of the Department of Gynecological Surgery of K Hospital, have successfully performed vNOTES surgeries for patients with menorrhagia, multiple uterine fibroids, and early-stage endometrial cancer. The surgical team performed a total hysterectomy and complete pelvic lymph node dissection through the vagina, without making an abdominal incision and leaving no external scars.

Regarding the vNOTES method in the treatment of gynecological tumors and cancers, Dr. Le Tri Chinh said that vNOTES has outstanding advantages such as reducing post-operative pain, less bleeding, quick recovery, and preserving maximum aesthetic factors - which are very important for female patients. This technique helps patients recover quickly and minimizes post-operative complications.
