Developing markets for high-tech products, innovation and digital transformation

Products from the innovative startup project of Can Tho University students were displayed at an event organized by Can Tho City.

In the era of digital transformation and deep international integration, science, technology and innovation play a key role in socio -economic development and enhancing national competitiveness. However, in reality, the market for science and technology products in Vietnam still has many barriers such as the lack of linkage mechanisms between research institutes, enterprises and the state; limitations in commercialization activities, research results and the lack of long-term support policies. Therefore, developing the market for science and technology products is not only an indispensable requirement to realize the goals of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, but also an important driving force, making science and technology the foundation for sustainable development of the country.

At the conference, delegates focused on presenting and discussing mechanisms and policies for innovation in Vietnam and promoting investment and trade in innovation and startups; developing markets for high-tech supporting industrial products; developing markets for green and circular industrial products; optimizing trade promotion and developing markets for science and technology products...

Experts also recommend that relevant ministries and sectors should organize forums, seminars, and exhibitions on innovation and Vietnamese startups in a number of target markets. Thereby, introducing our country's innovation mechanisms and policies, promoting Vietnam's potential and preferential policies to connect investment and trade; supporting the organization of pitching sessions for Vietnamese startups in foreign markets. In addition, it is necessary to organize delegations of Vietnamese businesses and startups to visit and work with innovation centers, technology companies, and investment funds abroad. At the same time, organizing meetings for foreign investors and technology corporations who want to learn about the Vietnamese market and cooperate with Vietnamese startups...
