The consortium of investors includes Makara Capital Partners Pte., Ltd; Sakae Corporate Advisory Pte., Ltd and Newtechco Group Joint Stock Company. According to the proposal of the consortium of investors, the Pharmaceutical - Biological Industrial Park project has an area of ​​about 300 hectares, with a total investment of more than VND 3,470 billion. Currently, the investor is studying the project proposal, and at the same time building documents to promote and attract investment in the Industrial Park. After the 1/2,000 scale construction zoning plan of the Industrial Park is approved, Quynh Phu district will extract and measure the land area for project implementation, prepare steps for site clearance when the project is approved for investment policy; strive to start the project in the first quarter of 2024. The project is planned with the following sub-zones: factory area, training and research area, medicinal material research area, logistics - port warehouse area, technical infrastructure area, public - service area, housing area for experts and workers. It is expected that when the project comes into operation, it will create direct jobs for about 18,000 workers.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed and clarified difficulties and obstacles, and discussed solutions to promote the project's early implementation in the field.

Speaking at the meeting, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: This is a key project of Thai Binh and has great significance for the health sector of Vietnam. With the support of central ministries, branches and the Party Committee and government of Thai Binh province, we believe that the project will soon be approved by the Government and implemented in Quynh Phu district.

Regarding the province's responsibility, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that he will actively participate, direct departments, branches, and localities to coordinate and support investors in researching and completing project procedures, ensuring site clearance, and preparing conditions for effective project implementation.

To ensure the project's progress, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Joint Venture of Investors to promptly complete the survey and establish a 1/2,000 scale plan. There is still much work to be done in the coming time, but we must do it part by part, completing it as soon as possible in accordance with legal procedures. During the implementation process, if any problems arise, the Joint Venture of Investors will closely coordinate and discuss with the Management Board of the Economic Zone and Industrial Parks of the province to promptly advise the Provincial People's Committee and the Ministry of Health to direct the resolution, with high determination to start the project in the first quarter of 2024.
