Students participate in a life skills education activity organized by KUMA International Training Company Limited.

“Summer vacation to grow up”, “Summer survival camp”, “Creative summer camp and scientific discovery”, “Confident, independent summer camp”… are the names of the courses that Tam Viet Thanh Hoa Life Skills Center (Hac Thanh ward) opens this summer. Lasting from 1 week to 1 month, each course is designed into practical small topics to “awaken” the potential within children, equipping them with a lot of knowledge, helping them form the necessary skills in handling situations, ensuring their own safety in life.

The interesting point is that many activities of the courses will take place in a close, friendly environment with nature, with specific situations requiring members to have good coordination, dexterity, and high discipline to be able to untie each knot and effectively handle the given situation.

Life skills education not only helps children develop in a balanced and correct direction between intelligence and emotions, but also contributes to reducing negative behaviors that are increasingly common in students such as school violence, depression, internet addiction... The benefits are undeniable, however, in order for life skills education for children to be truly effective, parents need to clearly identify what skills their children lack, what aspects they need support in; at the same time, it is necessary to consider whether the child's age is suitable for the content of the class or not?

In addition, parents also need to carefully research the legality of the organization, the teaching staff, the training program, and whether the learning environment is safe and friendly for children.
