According to the Center for Culture - Sports and Radio - Television of Hoi An City, in the first days of the April 30 - May 1 holiday, despite the hot weather in the area, the number of tourists visiting the ancient town was still very large.
Initial statistics show that on April 27-28, about 11,000 tickets were sold to visitors, mostly groups and international visitors.

"This is the second time our family has come to Hoi An for a holiday. Hoi An is always a favorite destination for my whole family," said Ms. Bich Ngoc (a tourist from Hanoi).

Recently, Hoi An was honored by the American website Smoky Mountains as one of the safest solo travel destinations in the world.
In 2024, Hoi An City strives to welcome 4.3 million visitors, of which international visitors will reach more than 3.2 million and domestic visitors will reach more than 1 million. Total tourism revenue will reach VND 4,538.6 billion, up 9.64% over the same period.
