The event took place in the atmosphere of celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, aiming to widely promote the image of Vietnam.
According to the organizers, Vietnam tourism is growing strongly. To achieve the annual target of 25 million international visitors and 150 million domestic visitors, the tourism industry needs attractive, emotional and highly influential communication products. Digital technology and social networks are currently effective tools, helping to bring the image of the country, people, culture and tourism services of Vietnam to hundreds of millions of people around the world in a short time. The "Impressions of Vietnam Tourism" contest is considered suitable for the digital transformation strategy of the tourism industry, taking advantage of the short video trend, a booming form of communication.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan, Director of the Center for Digital Transformation of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Head of the Editorial Board of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's Electronic Information Portal, emphasized: " We expect each entry to be a unique perspective, story, and experience, contributing to bringing the message "Vietnam - A safe, attractive, different and sustainable destination" to tourists from all over the world...".

The contest encourages works that exploit the beauty of nature, culture, heritage, and new tourism products; at the same time, it promotes green tourism trends, health tourism, golf, MICE, etc. This is also an opportunity for people, businesses, communities and international tourists to participate in promoting tourism, arousing pride and responsibility in preserving cultural and natural values.
The contest is expected to create a rich video archive, diverse in content and form, from professional perspectives to authentic everyday footage, serving long-term tourism promotion work.
The “Vietnam Tourism Impressions” contest accepts short (60 seconds) and long (up to 5 minutes) videos/clips, in horizontal or vertical format, reflecting the beauty of Vietnam’s land, people, culture and tourism.
