Mrs. Ha Thi Muc hopes to go to Hanoi Capital to directly watch the parade at the historic Ba Dinh Square.
Many times he confided to his children and grandchildren that he longed to witness the solemn and heroic parades with his own eyes; to visit the Vietnam Military History Museum to review the heroic revolutionary struggle tradition of the nation.
Understanding her feelings and wishes, her family decided to take her to Hanoi. A few days ago, she was in the capital and visited some historical sites with her children and grandchildren. Her grandson, Nguyen Thanh Dat, born in 1995, currently working in Hanoi, shared: “My grandmother is very excited, talking about going to see the parade every day. She hopes the weather will be clear so that everyone can attend the ceremony smoothly.”
Mr. Muc was moved many times when watching on television important events of the country, such as the parade and march to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country. For him, it was not only a source of pride, but also a vivid memory of the difficult years of resistance.
At the age of 91, he is still lucid, healthy, and able to take care of his daily activities. He has 5 children, 30 grandchildren, and more than 10 great-grandchildren. In the memories of his children and grandchildren, he is always a spiritual support, a link connecting generations in the family with stories about neighborly love, resistance, and patriotic traditions.
The wish of Mrs. Ha Thi Muc is also the common sentiment of many generations of people of the Ancestral Land, always looking towards the Capital - the heart of the whole country on the great holiday, to be more proud of the heroic historical tradition of the nation.
