These days, people all over the country are looking towards Ho Chi Minh City. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification, many solemn and special activities are taking place in the city. The preliminary and final rehearsals for the parade attract tens of thousands of people to watch.
Everyone is proud, it is an extremely precious thing that shows the spirit of patriotism, unity, and solidarity towards the celebration of half a decade of national reunification . All are beautiful images that have been introduced and spread on social networks over the past few days. However, due to the long waiting time, sometimes from noon to midnight, many people brought some snacks, cakes and drinks to fill their stomachs. What is worth mentioning here is that after the crowd left, the trash was left behind.
This situation is not the first time it has happened. Up to now, after the end of many large events that attracted a large number of people, there was a messy image of litter everywhere. The image of soldiers practicing in the sun and rain was so beautiful, but somewhere on the street, where the audience came to watch in large numbers, there were still some not-so-beautiful images. Some people, including young children, picked up litter scattered all over the streets and gathered it in one place, waiting for sanitation workers to collect and process it.
Having participated in festivals several times, I have witnessed the situation of garbage overload that spoils the urban beauty when the festival ends. Sometimes, sanitation workers have to spend the whole night cleaning up the sea of garbage. If only every participant was aware and knew how to properly dispose of garbage in public places, the streets would be cleaner and greener after events that attract a large number of participants. People leave, but please do not leave garbage behind./.
