Mr. Tran Van Nam, Secretary of Binh Chanh District Party Committee, emphasized that compensation and site clearance are prerequisites for public investment disbursement, so it is necessary to focus on synchronous solutions.
"Put yourself in the shoes of the people, from resolving real estate records to compensation and site clearance. For many people, a few hundred million or a few billion VND may not be too much, but for the poor, if they do not receive timely compensation and support or if the settlement is not thorough, it will make their lives more miserable," Mr. Nam acknowledged.
The Secretary of Binh Chanh also requested the district authorities and investors to speed up the project's construction progress, put the project into operation soon, worthy of the affection of local people.
On this occasion, the People's Committee of Binh Chanh District awarded certificates of merit to 39 groups, 136 individuals and 25 households with good achievements in compensation, support and resettlement of projects in the area.
