Khanh Hoa - Right near Nha Trang city, Ha Lien village is considered a lonely "oasis" because it is completely isolated from the city.
About 30km from Nha Trang city, Ha Lien village in Ninh Ha ward, Ninh Hoa town, Khanh Hoa province is one of the famous ancient villages because of its geographical location as well as unique cultural beauty. The special feature of Ha Lien village is that it is located in the middle of Nha Phu lagoon and is surrounded by aquaculture ponds. Seen from above, Ha Lien looks like an "oasis" floating in the middle of the vast ocean. Photo: NVCC As someone who likes to take photos here and there, Mr. Quoc Bao (46 years old, Nha Trang) had a trip to explore the ancient village of Ha Lien. He affirmed that he was extremely impressed with the scenery as well as the atmosphere and the pace of life of the people here. The road to the old Ha Lien village, now Ha Lien residential group, has only one concrete road, while the rest of the people and tourists have to travel by boat if they enter by another way. A large yard at the beginning of the village is where people gather and play sports. Photo: NVCC “I feel that the people are gentle, friendly, approachable, and simple. The scenery is peaceful, life is simple, and the cost of living is much cheaper than in the city,” said the male tourist. In addition, the image of a peaceful village covered with green trees, surrounded by immense rivers also creates a feeling of relaxation and "healing". Many tourists joke that this is a lonely village because it is both sparsely populated and isolated in the middle of the sea. Ha Lien village also raises many types of shrimp, crabs, and brackish water fish for export. Despite many difficulties, in general, people's lives are not too difficult. Photo: NVCC One of the special things in Ha Lien is that people still maintain the familiar, simple lifestyle of the rustic countryside. "There is often a small market in the middle of the village, selling vegetables, food, and breakfast in the morning, and there is also a market in the afternoon with fewer stalls," Mr. Bao shared. With its unique geographical location and culture, Ha Lien village has great potential for developing eco-tourism and community tourism and deserves to be known by more people. From afar, the village looks like a landscape painting that seems to only appear in poetry, giving a peaceful and unreal feeling, in contrast to the modern, bustling city. Photo: NVCC
