A tornado suddenly occurred in My Ly commune (Nghe An province), which has just suffered heavy damage caused by floods.

On the afternoon of August 5, Mr. Luong Van Bay, Chairman of the People's Committee of My Ly commune, said that the clip about the tornado being shared online was a recording of a tornado in the commune.

Specifically , the tornado occurred briefly on the afternoon of August 5, in Xang Tren village.

Mr. Luong Van Bay said that this tornado did not cause any major damage to people or property, only some temporary tarpaulins were blown away. However, because the tornado occurred after the recent flood, it caused anxiety among the people.

Currently, local authorities, My Ly Border Guard Station and local forces have gone to inspect and stabilize the situation.
